Movement.js is made up of two main components. One can tell when something moved across the webcam feed, while the second will try and analyse the movement and detect a certain gesture.
If one of the preconfigured gestures is detected, then Movement.js will trigger a callback JS function and execute arbitrary code.
This lets developers tie-in movements and gestures to JavaScript controls and indirectly let users control a Web-based app via their actions.
